Superb place to stay.Location opposite park and five minutes walk to centre of town.Adie and Mandy make you feel very welcome and their guest accomodation is immaculate and very comfy.We stayed in Room 4 which is their small double.It was perfect for our three night stay.Very quiet , comfy bed, nice shower room and a nice view to hill at rear of hotel.Mandy's breakfast are great and set you up for the day.Adie serves them to you and is a very happychap to chat to and find out about things to do.AVOid the Hardknott Pass unless you have a death wish!!- Pamela and David B

From the moment we arrived Aide and Mandy made us feel welcome.We had a lovely room very clean and comfortable the decor of Brantfell House has been done to a very high standard and felt like a high end hotel.Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and cooked to perfection.We would definitely recommend staying here and have already booked our return next year.- Julie J
